Having both attended and worked in prestigious boarding institutions, Tamara has gained valuable insights into what it takes to be a successful applicant. After attending The Taft School in Watertown, CT, she matriculated at The University of Pennsylvania earning her degree in Biological Basis of Behavior. Following graduation, she moved to Tokyo, Japan to work with elementary and junior high school students. After two years, Tamara took her talents to Thailand where she spent the next year immersing herself in the new culture and teaching adult students interview and business presentation skills.
Upon returning to the United States, she reentered the world of boarding school as the Director of Multicultural Recruitment at The Taft School, traveling with the Ten Schools Admission Organization (TSAO) and building valuable professional and personal relationships.
This intimate knowledge of the world's top boarding institutions inspired her to help guide applicants through the intimidating process of secondary school admission. The goal is to help students and families feel empowered and confident, offering expertly tailored advice and insights to make the road to boarding school both straightforward and exciting.
